CKD MY: It's good to be back!

After a short break in July, we're back in full force! With more than 30 sign ups in our first month back, we are slowly but surely expanding our CKD family in Kuala Lumpur! From the ages of 3 to 54, we're excited to spread the benefits of CKD.

First grading back - 1st October.
Number of students graded - 55 new starts
Number of students grading from white belt - 18 (with one doing a double grading to yellow belt 2 months into training!)

October seems to be jam packed with fresh faces and exciting new starts!

What's new?

Adult Doboks:

We will be rolling out these new doboks over the next few months! Everything from the badges down to the stitching on the back was made right here in Malaysia! Don't they look smart?

A New Face

Mr. Dominic Pickett from ADAPT CKD London has been training since the age of 10 thanks to the influence of his older brother. Having quickly become a big part of his life, CKD helped Mr. Pickett gain confidence in his everyday life - from helping him develop communication skills that has aided in interacting with adults and other children to being more comfortable in his own skin. Some of the differences in teaching styles that he has observed include the added attention to gross motor movement skills here in Malaysia.

He hopes to take some of the drills and advice he has learnt while here back with him in order to implement them. He will be with us until March 2018.
